From 905 Against Police Brutality and CopWatch:

Who: Hamilton CopWatch is a direct action organization dedicated to forcing greater accountability upon Hamilton police and equipping members of our community with the knowledge and skills to deal with police injustice.
What: This event is an opportunity for Hamilton CopWatch to connect with other interested and/or concerned Community members. We are looking to discuss CopWatch, share experiences, discuss community concern, and connect with folks who are wanting to participate in any way.

Where: Beasley Park, located at Wilson and Mary Street. We’ll be in the heart of park, near the fountain!

When: Sunday, August 28, 2011. From 12pm – 4pm.

Our unity is our strength in the struggle against police abuse!

This event is also a fundraiser! We’re looking to build funds to equip our CopWatch group with tools for patrols, workshops, and info distribution. The following is an example of some of the things we’ll be needing!:

- photocopies

Come on out for music, face-painting, balloons, a bake sale, and guest speakers!!
